Theme: Little Steps, Big Future
Today, we stand united in celebration of the heartbeat of our nation,our children. As we commemorate Children’s Day 2025 under the inspiring theme “Little Steps, Big Future,” we are reminded that the smallest acts of care, compassion, and commitment can yield the most transformative impact on the lives of our young ones.
The Jeffrey Kuraun Foundation was established with a resolute vision, to uplift struggling households by bridging gaps in healthcare, advancing educational opportunities for children, and empowering parents to nurture and protect the sanctity of the home. Ours is a mission grounded in love, driven by purpose, and inspired by the belief that no child should be left behind.
For over twelve years, we have remained steadfast in this pursuit. Currently, we sponsor 100 children through full scholarships at the primary and secondary levels. Beyond that, we have extended inventions to over 15 students in tertiary institutions this year, empowering them to break barriers and shape their destinies.
But today is not just about numbers,it is about dreams, about destinies waiting to unfold. I do not only celebrate my dear Olivia and Sonen, my cherished adopted children, nor only the many bright minds under our scholarship program. I celebrate every child. For every child is a divine masterpiece,a bearer of promise, a vessel of light.
Children are not just our future; they are our now. They are the reason we must build stronger institutions, safer communities, and kinder societies. While we may not be able to meet every want of a child, it is our fervent prayer that the little steps we take today will create a tomorrow where every child can soar.
May we never tire in our duty to love, protect, and uplift them. For in their eyes lies the hope of nations, and in their hands,the blueprint of a brighter world.
